Family members die in Israeli house demolition - 18 Jan 09

Israeli forces demolished the house of the Sammouni family in Gaza City after ordering them to remain in it for safety. Twenty-seven members of the family died and another 90 Gazans remained trapped under the rubble, with rescue efforts hampered by Israeli forces.

Destroyed homes greet returning Gazans - 18 Jan 09

In the first few hours of the supposed ceasefire in Gaza, some Palestinians have tried to return to their homes. But many residential buildings have been destroyed in the Israeli bombardment, and what some people find is rubble and devastation.

6. Samouni family found another 17 members dead under the rubbles of their house. Some of them were killed by shells and some others executed by live bullets.
7. Palestinian paramedics and medical staff found around 100 corps of dead people in various locations in Gaza.
8. Palestinian factions fired 6 rockets into Israeli territories.
9. Phosperous bombs still burning in many areas.
